Is the enthusiasm less now compared to that of the start?
- I feel that the role of an associate needs transformation.
- We are given the threat that if you do not meet your targets you can be fired or you will be so pressurized that you will leave the job on your own.
- Here since we are not on-roll just by taking feedback from dealers or TL we are transferred from one location to another and no one takes the side of the Associate.
- So even though we are in the job of service to customers, they try to take us under confidence, ask for a favour, they would say things like ‘you do the job at a personal level, company rate is high, you individually take up this site without getting the company involved.’ But we don’t do that as it is not in our ethics.
- There should be a system where after some time the decision to fire or transfer is taken. It should not be based on the performance of one quarter or a few months, as you cannot really know the potential of the person in such limited time.
