There is always a challenge, as this is a customer-based company. And we are dependent on company sales. So, we have some or the other challenge daily. Today I have this challenge. So, today if a customer is not getting damp-proofing done on his roof; if I can tell the customer about damp proofing and add up to his purchases so it will be good only. Daily there are challenges only at the site. So, if sale keeps adding up it is beneficial only.
(Another challenge)-I had a site. Let me explain. As the building, builds up to put tiles in elevation, the surface is roughed and then tiles are placed in the building elevation. I thought of trying to mould the tiles with Createx, a product by Asian Paints and giving the customers. I was thinking about whether this is possible or not possible. This took a lot of my time. I took this up and spent a lot of time explaining to the customers about Createx. I explained to the customer that the wall surface would remain the same if you used tiles. For ten or twenty years it will be the same. This would be the case even if you use an expensive material like marble. However, if you select Createx; we can keep modifying the colour of the surface after a few years. Say, two/ three/ four/ five years later, we can keep changing the colour. The facia will keep looking different. But with tiles, the facia will be fixed, the colour will be the same. At times, tiles can also fall off. I convinced them and they liked that after some time, the facia can change. I was successful in this, and the customers added little additional work with Createx on their site. This was added an extra piece in their order.
The customer was happy. He told the dealer that he was very happy with the work of the Associate. It was cheaper than tiles and also took less time to execute. He especially liked the fact that he can even change the colour from time to time.
