The client was my dealer’s colleague. We got work for his site during the pandemic (when vaccination was available). Before starting the work he kept a condition- that before you visit the site everyone will have to show him the certificate of their first dose of vaccination.
But in our company till that time there was no process of giving free vaccination to all the contractors. All our vendors were from a village so the vaccine had not reached them till then. So after speaking to the unit head, dealer about this situation and later them convincing the customer about letting them work without vaccination the vendors went to the site and completed the project.
Later the customer raised a complaint stating that “is this how the company works without following any safety protocols like making the vendors work without getting them vaccinated, what if something goes wrong.?” so he raised such a complaint.
1. is that find workers who are vaccinated and 2. if not, then make sure that during the work all safety protocols are followed eg- wearing a PPE kit etc
