To build a trust factor that the ECAs are from Asian Paints; the Associates use two things to prove that.
One is I-cards. The second is visiting cards for the ECA/ CCA. As per company norms, the company had started issuing these things, but I don’t this is being followed as much at ground level. Because a lot of ECAs [those from agencies like LOGO and AIBPL] tell us that they have not been issued I-cards.
Sometimes, police also stop them on the roads. So, our areas are somewhere in the Srinagar side in South Kashmir. This is a disturbed area [referring to terrorism related unrest]. There, whenever ECAs go for a site visit, the customer does not allow the ECA into their premises/ site without an I-card or a visiting card. I agree that you will say that this facility is provided. But at ground reality it is not being done very effectively.
