When I had joined as CCA, I had cracked my first lead exactly after a year, this was my biggest achievement. When I had joined on 19th Dec 2019, I had got a central lead of a client who required painting work. The client had also taken quotations from Berger, and the rate which they were offering was slightly less than what he had quoted. So I explained to him the difference between the two products, explained to him about Asian Paints’s covering and masking frameworks. So, he was satisfied with the process but he had issues with the budget, so in my mind, I thought that this is my first lead and I must convert it anyhow by hook or crook. I kept following up with him and every time he would just say that your rate is high. So there were other works going on in his house, but I kept following up. The plus point is that store which we have in Kanpur, this is the best store in the entire city and it is very famous, this was my biggest pitching point. I asked the client to visit the store once, we also have the colour consultants who sit there, you can check the colours on the screen, which colour will best suit you for your requirements, the customer got convinced. The only challenge with the customer was rate, because product wise I assured him a lot, told him that minimum of 5 years you won’t even have to touch the walls after we have worked on it, AP team is very skilled, you don’t need to supervise any work. The client did even come to the site, he only visited in the last few days, he had given me the key saying that you complete this work from your end. The way he believed in me, I got the work done exactly according to his expectations. My follow-up was ruthless, and also, last 3 days I gave proper attention to the site and had put in extra time and effort.
