Feeling stuck unable to deal with unreasonable demands of a difficult customer

In another flat in the same apartment, the plastering work is not good. There are many undulations in the plastering work. Near the door surface, it was clearly visible. The customer expected a very smooth finish with no undulations. He is argued without listening to us. And with his knowledge, he is said that undulations should be covered while doing putty. At that time, we told him to call the apartment builder’s supervisor. We asked him,’ should the undulation be covered while doing putty work during painting job or else should it be covered while plastering itself? Then the supervisor said sorry for the undulations, and also said that they are planning an alternate solution for that. 

 At that time, my contractor coordinated with me and supported me very well while speaking with the customer. To convince the customer, he took a blade and placed it on the wall. He showed the customer how the undulations have come up.

We have stopped that work for almost thirty days. Still, the work has not started. The flat is still on hold. 

For the coordination part, I can say that it is very important to coordinate with the painter team also.
