When I had recently joined, I had got a customer who initially only needed painting service. But then I suggested to him Nilaya Wallpapers [product from Asian Paints]- different ones room-wise. So, while he called me only for painting; I had given him some extra advice regarding wallpaper and texture and he really liked that.
Then he also appointed me for exterior texture work. After that the customer gave me a new project as well. The bonding that I had made with the customer is still there today. Because I suggested the wallpaper and the texture to him; whenever there is a requirement for painting, he will always offer the site to me.

Nilaya wallpaper has qualities. Some very good-looking designs made by Sabyasachi. We always try and sell wallpapers which are matching the interiors. The tiles, wall colour, etc within the room. Same goes for suggesting texture paints. Also, we always suggest wallpapers- especially if there is no moisture on the wall. [As the wallpaper may peel off in case of moisture].
For this, firstly I try and understand the customers point of view. What they are trying to say. Their needs. What kind of interior work they are looking for? Then I try and suggest the correct product from our Asian Paint’s range of available products. This activity [giving proper guidance] helps create a bond between us and the customer.
