Had a client from Mumbai, and work started at his place before the lockdown. Due to lockdown the time for competition increased and the labourers had also left the site. So when the work resumed, the site had some problems, the labrourers had changed. The customer raised a complaint and it had reached higher levels and then the customer got connected with me.
I spoke to him, visited the site, saw all the mistakes on the site, accept the mistakes from our side recovered the work for the customer. I also gave him a timeline saying that “sir please give me a few more days and your work will get completed within this timeline.” This is about communicating with the client. I would update the customer daily in the morning and evening about the site progress and the site got completed the way he wanted in the decided timelines.
Since then, there has been no complaint that reached any hierarchy, he paid the due amount and the work was completed in a positive way and then he also wrote another email saying “the work is properly done” to the heads.
