I was working at a kiosk. A customer (who was an income tax officer) came who had been taking paint from a nearby counter for 10 years. That counter was closed and so the customer came to our place.
- He asked me to make paint colours for him. I did a site visit, I found some painters already there. So, I did some consultation – I saw they had a big hall so then I made a red colour for them which they found very beautiful.
- So I made the rate and did very good follow up and service for them. They liked it so much that they gave me more work in the house and finally they removed the contractors they had earlier and brought me in to do even the main house work.
- I did only 4 lakh 50 thousand worth of business only through materials on this site.
- Later, even the old counter guys sent their guys – they sent people from Apollo Paints, but I was able to sideline them through the quality of my service. I found this to be a good achievement.
- The customer also gave me appreciation in front of seniors – praising the quality of my service and follow-up
