Recognizing the value of the efforts I put into work

I generally don’t look at the time while working. From 8 am painters start calling, because they reach the site at 9 and customers get done from work by 8 pm so by night 11:30, 12 customers message me on WhatsApp and I reply to them. Since 2019 I have not taken a single off, even on Sunday I visit sites and work.

I am putting in all efforts for self-satisfaction. If a customer says that he will get his next work done only by me, then that’s the best feeling. Customers don’t just tell me this, when they come to the store they even tell the dealer that this associate of yours is very friendly by nature, and he immediately catches or understands what we want. That’s a big satisfaction point.

Because of such experiences, you groom your personality. We learn to interact with customers. Because we are working at Asian paints, the customers we get are IITians, AIIMs doctors, Civil Servants, etc. We get to interact with people from various fields and on the other end, we also interact with painters, contractors etc. So it’s not like someone is more important or valuable. We learn to balance our conversations with everyone. If there is some issue between the customer and the applicator, or if any mistake has happened from the side of the applicator,  instead of pointing that out on the site we take him on the side and explain to him about the customers’ needs.

My plus point is that I am only 22 years old and at such an early age SSO sir has given me this opportunity to work with such a big organisation.
