timelines are fixed and not negotiable

. So, the challenges that we face is, sometimes we get fixed timelines from them which is not at all negotiable. This puts us in trouble when we do not have fit source and time to consume for this activity. So, that is one challenge with the product development team. And the second thing is being in the different time zone and different culture. So, they way their expectation is, what they talk to us is slightly different from when we interact with the customers of our country.

. Just a small example, in the lockdown scenario the understanding is far lesser from their side of the difficulties and hardship that Indians are facing. Because, in UK the lockdown is not as strict as here in India. These kind of small small things is where they cannot understand the exact hardship or problems or limitations that we have in multiple occasions

– I try to put all the risks on the table. If it is not negotiable then I would still like them to understand that there are risks associated. If let’s say they want something to be delivered in 10 days and it is going to take more time as per means. Then I tell them that the quality will suffer or we have to cut down the scope of testing or we have to cut down this so called development. And when we are trying to do the deployment on the production system, that may be out of control. So, I need to put all the risks associated on the table so that even if we are going on a fast pace and if we hit something everybody is prepared for that
