When the Dealer doesn’t get on-ground visibility from his Associate

One dealer had an associate who would never tell the dealer, what happened on the site. Or what all the quotation value of the site was. He would also not report out properly. He will ask the contractor directly and then come to the dealer. [Normally, the Associate should report to the dealer first as the Dealer has employed the Associate and the contractor]. So he was not completely doing it in a systematic manner. Post the complaint we had to move the guy and we got somebody else for the dealer counter.

The next guy [associate] was very particular – if there is payment collection, he will quickly update and give the dealer all the details, ensure payment collection is done by the dealer. He would also ensure that the reporting format is daily sent to the dealers. And whatever work would have to be done, he will inform everything to the dealer. So, the dealer would be very happy that this guy [associate] is right for me. And we could see a turnaround in that dealer. The way the ECA reports is also something that is important.
