Winning over a competitor’s customer

  • There was a site where Nerolac paint was almost confirmed. It was a big project site. The dealer requested the Associate to go and visit the site once and to pitch the SPS service to the customer.  
  • Then Associate visited the site and convinced the builder that now you’re putting Nerolac, but it does not have a lot of potential. This is because the number of dealers for Nerolac is less. Asian Paints has good product quality. And alsothe number of dealers selling Asian Paints is more. 
  • So, in the future, you will not face any shortage of material.  As we can easily contact other dealers and make sure material arrangements are made available. 
  • The builder was convinced so nicely that he removed Nerolac and gave the order to the ECA. This was not labour plus material order. It was only material. But the ECA ensured that only Asian Paints material went to the site for this project.
